The investigation conducted in accordance with the Competition Board decisions dated 13.04.2023, numbered 23-18/322-M and dated 28.09.2023, numbered 23-46/868-M, which concerned the claim that undertakings operating in the field of egg carton production violated Article 4 of the Act no 4054 has been concluded.

Upon the Board’s approval of the settlement requests submitted by all of the undertakings being investigated, the investigation was terminated with a settlement for all of the investigated parties which admitted the infringement and the administrative fines established as a result of the settlement procedures conducted separately with each of the undertakings in question.

In that framework, the following administrative fines were imposed on the relevant undertakings on the grounds that they violated Article 4 of the Act no 4054 with Competition Board decisions of various dates and numbers:

• 20,247,949.59 TL on Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi AŞ,

• 1,652,629.70 TL on Güneş Kalıplı Basma Kutu Ambalaj San. ve Tic. AŞ,

• 3,786,023.17 TL on Güres Tavukçuluk Üretim Pazarlama Ticaret AŞ,

• 28,795,118.00 TL on Keskinoğlu Tav. ve Dam. İşl. San. Tic. AŞ,

• 58,775.37 TL on Özay Karton Ambalaj Gıda San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., and

• 439,592.10 TL on Yuva Viyol ve Ambalaj San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.
