Mehmet AYAN

Mehmet Ayan was born in Orta, the Province of Çankırı in 1979. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara and graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ankara University in 2001.

He did internship as a lawyer in 2002 and served in the army in short term. Afterwards, he worked as a self-employed lawyer in Ankara between 2003 and 2013.

He completed his candidature of judge and public prosecutor in the Supreme Court between 2013 and 2014, following which he worked as a Public Prosecutor in Eruh, Siirt and Eğil Diyarbakır. After he was assigned as an Investigating Judge to the Supreme Court by 2016 summer Decree, he was shown as a candidate to the member of the Competition Authority by the Presidency of the Judicial Council and then was appointed as a member to the Competition Board by decree of the Council of Ministers published in Official Gazette on 24th December 2016, while serving as an Investigating Judge in the Penal Department no 1 of the Supreme Court.

Mehmet Ayan is married and has two children.
