The Competition Board authorized Uber Technologies, Inc.’s acquisition of sole control over the (i) online food ordering and delivery services business and (ii) online fast-moving consumer goods ordering and deliver services business of Getir Perakende Lojistik A.Ş., within the framework of the commitments package presented by Uber Technologies, Inc. 

Under the package in question, the commitment regarding a total investment of 500 million USD to be made by Uber Technologies, Inc. in Türkiye is expected to support highly qualified employment, strengthen local engineering capabilities, and make a positive contribution to the development of Türkiye’s digital and technological infrastructure.
