“The Symposium on the Legal Issues at the Intersection of Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law” hosted by İstanbul University and organized in cooperation between İstanbul University and the Turkish Competition Authority will be held on April 10, 2026 in three sessions.

The opening remarks of the Symposium will be delivered by the President of the Turkish Competition Authority Birol KÜLE, the Rector of İstanbul University Prof. Dr. Osman Bülent ZÜLFİKAR and the Dean of İstanbul University Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Fethi GEDİKLİ.

At the Symposium, where recent developments related to trademark, intellectual property law, copyright and music law as well as the digital content ecosystem will be discussed from competition law perspective, executives and experts of the Turkish Competition Authority will also participate in the sessions and share their knowledge and experience.
