COMPETITION LAW ESKİŞEHİR SUMMIT WILL BE HELD (11.5.2026)

“Competition Law Eskişehir Summit” hosted by Anadolu University, will be held on May 13, 2026 in Eskişehir, with the cooperation of Eskişehir Orhangazi University and the Turkish Competition Authority.

The Summit, which will provide a platform for important discussions at the intersection of economic and administrative sciences and law, will be held in Anadolu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. İhsan Erkul Conference Hall between 10.00 and 17.00.

Prof. Kamil ÇOLAK, Prof. Yusuf ADIGÜZEL and Birol KÜLE will deliver the opening remarks at the Summit.

Academics and public representatives will address the current issues of competition law from a multidimensional perspective during the all-day sessions. In particular, subjects such as artificial intelligence, digital markets, arbitration processes and intellectual property are among the prominent topics of the summit.

The role of the competition law in the digitalized economy, new approaches emerging within the framework of the European Union regulations and the impacts of market dynamics will be assessed comprehensively in the event, where expert academics from different universities will attend. The Vice President of the Turkish Competition Authority Assoc. Prof. Hakan BİLİR will act as a moderator whereas Heads of Department M. Ömür PAŞAOĞLU, Evrim Özgül KAZAK and İbrahim ŞAHİN will make contributions with their presentations in different sessions.

In addition, the summit is intended to address the relationship between competition law and sustainability objectives and the effect of competition law on environmental markets and innovation as well as to strengthen knowledge sharing between the public and the academia.

“Competition Law Eskişehir Summit” aims to produce significant outcomes in academic and practical fields by bringing together acknowledged experts.
