Within the scope of the investigation conducted in accordance with the Competition Board (Board) decision dated 20.02.2025 and numbered 25-07/177-M(2) in order to determine whether Article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition was violated by the indirect exchange of information among Teknosa İç ve Dış Tic. AŞ, Vatan Bilgisayar San. ve Tic. AŞ and Media Markt Turkey Tic. Ltd. Şti. (MEDIAMARKT) through Fakir Elektrikli Ev Aletleri Dış Ticaret AŞ, which is active in the small home appliances sector, it has been decided, with the Board decision dated 02.04.2026 and numbered 26-11/343-130,  that an administrative fine of 330,322,816.48 TL should be imposed on MEDIAMARKT, on the grounds that the aforementioned undertaking violated Article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by participating in an agreement with the characteristics of a hub-and-spoke cartel and/or a concerted practice.
