Investigation Launched on Dyson Turkey Elektrikli Ürünler Tic. Ltd. Şti. (2.12.2025)

The Competition Board (Board) concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted to determine if Article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition (Act no 4054) was violated by Dyson Turkey Elektrikli Ürünler Tic. Ltd. Şti. (DYSON), which is active in Türkiye in the sale and marketing of durable consumer goods including corded and cordless vacuums, air purifiers, hair care equipment, hair and hand dryers, lighting, wearable technology products, and various industrial and domestic cleaning equipment.

In light with the findings acquired during the on-site inspections conducted within the scope of the preliminary inquiry, in its meeting of 06.11.2025, the Board took the decision no 25-41/1007-M to launch an investigation under Article 41 of the Act no 4054 to determine if DYSON violated Article 4 of the Act no 4054 by practices which are thought to be aimed at preventing parallel imports, as well as conduct with the characteristics of intervention in terms of resale. At the same time, the investigation initiated will examine in detail if the Act no 4054 is violated by the selective distribution system implemented by DYSON and the practices aimed at maintaining the selective distribution system.
