The Competition Board launched an investigation on Orzaks İlaç ve Kimya San. Tic. AŞ (ORZAKS) to determine if the undertaking violated Articles 4 and 6 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition (Act no 4054), on the suspicion that it abused its dominant position through the purchasing obligations it imposed on pharmacies, the requirement to stock certain product groups together, and the various discounts it applied and that it restricted the online sales of resellers by the provisions in its contracts.

After discussing the information and documents acquired during the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 11.11.2025, the Competition Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision numbered 25-42/1021-M to launch an investigation on ORZAKS under Article 41 of the Act no 4054.
