“The Symposium on the Legal Issues at the Intersection of Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law” organized in cooperation with İstanbul University Faculty of Law was held on April 10, 2026 in İstanbul University Rectorate Building Doctoral Hall.

At the Symposium, where the President of the Turkish Competition Authority Birol KÜLE and the Dean of İstanbul University Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Fethi GEDİKLİ delivered the opening remarks, recent developments at the intersection of intellectual property and competition law were addressed comprehensively.

Under the scope of the program, while the Vice President of the Competition Authority Assoc. Prof. Hakan BİLİR acted as the session chair, Head of Supervision and Enforcement Department VI Dr. M. Ömür PAŞAOĞLU, Head of Supervision and Enforcement Department V Buket ARI AYDIN, Deputy Head of Supervision and Enforcement Department V Derya ERMİŞ and Assistant Competition Expert Gülşen EREN PEKGÖZ contributed to the program with their presentations.
