The investigation, which was conducted according to the Competition Board decision dated 30.11.2023 and numbered 23-55/1085-M about Veltıa Laboratuvar ve Danışmanlık Hizmetleri AŞ (STA Kalite Kontrol Gıda Laboratuvarı AŞ), Radix Analiz Laboratuvar Hizmetleri Ticaret AŞ, Kalite Sistem Laboratuvarları AŞ, Çevre Endüstriyel Analiz San. ve Tic. AŞ and Southern Agricultural Services Tarım Ltd. Şti. concerning the claims that they fixed prices and exchanged competitively sensitive information, has been concluded.

With the Competition Board decision dated 28.05.2025 and numbered 25-21/516-340, it has been decided that Kalite Sistem Laboratuvarları AŞ, Veltıa Laboratuvar ve Danışmanlık Hizmetleri AŞ (STA Kalite Kontrol Gıda Laboratuvarı AŞ), Southern Agricultural Services Tarım Ltd. Şti. violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition through an agreement and/or concerted practice to fix food analysis fees and exchange of competitively sensitive information; accordingly, Kalite Sistem Laboratuvarları AŞ shall be imposed 1.353.100,91 TL, Veltıa Laboratuvar ve Danışmanlık Hizmetleri AŞ (STA Kalite Kontrol Gıda Laboratuvarı AŞ) shall be imposed 678.636,34 TL, and Southern Agricultural Services Tarım Ltd. Şti. shall be imposed 357.338,28 TL; since no finding showing that Çevre Endüstriyel Analiz Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ and Radix Analiz Laboratuvar Hizmetleri Ticaret AŞ violated the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition could be found, it is not necessary to impose administrative fines to the said undertakings.
