The investigation about certain undertakings operating in the production and sale of ready-mixed concrete in Keşan district of Edirne ended with settlement procedure. (29.4.2025)
The investigation conducted according to the Board decision dated 15.08.2024 and numbered 24-33/789-M to determine whether Saros Hazır Beton İnş. Madencilik San. ve Tic. AŞ, Serin Beton İnş. Taah. İnş. Malz. Hafr. Taş. Gıda San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. and Zofunlar Beton Üretim Pazarlama San. ve Tic. AŞ violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by price fixing, allocating regions/customers and exchanging information concluded.
After the parties to the investigation applied for settlement during the investigation process, the Board made a reduction of 25% to the fines it determined and took the decision dated 20.03.2025 and numbered 25-11/252-131 that
- Saros Hazır Beton İnş. Madencilik San. ve Tic. AŞ shall be imposed 5.406.988,88 TL
- Serin Beton İnş. Taah. İnş. Malz. Hafr. Taş. Gıda San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. shall be imposed 3.831.807,55 TL and
- Zofunlar Beton Üretim Pazarlama San. ve Tic. AŞ shall be imposed 986.382,05 TL
administrative fines and the investigation shall be terminated with settlement procedure.
