The Hungarian Competition Authority hosted the second meeting of the Competition Authorities of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Budapest on April 29,2025, which was organized through the initiative of the Turkish Competition Authority (TCA) and the first meeting of which was organized by the TCA in İstanbul last year. In addition to the President of the TCA, Mr. Birol Küle, the meeting was attended by Mr. Elnur Baghirov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Competition Authority, Mr. Bolat Sambetov, Deputy Chairman of the Kazakhstan Competition Authority, Mr. Zhenaly Orozbaev, Chairman of the Kyrgyzstan Competition Authority, Mr. Csaba Balázs Rigó, President of the Hungarian Competition Authority, Mr. Farrukh Karabaev, Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Competition Authority and Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the relevant countries, and a joint communiqué was signed at the end of the meeting. Before the meeting, Mr. Küle also paid a visit to H.E. Madam Gülşen Karanis Ekşioğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Hungary.
