While the preliminary inquiry of the Competition Board conducted pursuant to article 40 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of the Competition concerning Türkiye Şişe ve Cam Fabrikaları AŞ and its subsidiary Şişecam Çevre Sistemleri AŞ was ongoing, the undertakings made an application to initiate the commitment process regarding the competitive concerns in the file. As a result of the commitment negotiations made upon the application, the said parties submitted a comprehensive commitment package. 
As a result of the discussion of the file by the Competition Board on 21.10.2021, it was decided that the commitment package in question would be rendered binding and the preliminary inquiry would be terminated because the commitments offered are able to solve the competitive problems.
