Berat UZUN

Member of the Board

Born in 1984 in Çorum, Berat UZUN graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, afterwards, he received his master’s degree in the field of Urban and Environmental Sciences at Ankara University.

He worked in different non-governmental organizations and he served as Private Secretary and Advisor to the Minister.

Mr. UZUN worked at different levels at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. While he was working as the Acting Deputy Director General at the Ministry of Trade Directorate General of Support Services, Liquidation Affairs and Revolving Fund, he was appointed as a Member of the Competition Board according to the Presidential Decision numbered 2022/73, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 25 February 2022 and numbered 31762.

He was appointed as a Member of the Competition Board again according to the Presidential Decision numbered 2023/474, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 2 November 2023 and numbered 32357.

Berat UZUN is married and has two children. He has a good command of English.
